Student Training And Resource Sharing (STARS) is an 8‑week paid summer internship for students over the age of 16 at one of our project sites.
Safety First
Safety is TVA’s #1 priority.
Anyone who participates in the STARS program will be required to go through TVA training, including:
Orientation
Human Performance Tools
Hazard Recognition
Additional safety modules as required
What’s in It for You?

About the Program
The TVA STARS Program is a school‑to‑work initiative started in 2022.
It is designed to help students build skills needed to compete in today’s workforce.

Facilities practices used in the industry today

LHS Juniors, LHS Sophomore
The Tennessee Governor's Schools provide 11 challenging and high-intensity programs for rising 11th and 12th grade students. Each school offers a unique learning environment for students interested in the arts, humanities, agriculture science, STEM programs, advanced mathematics, physics, leadership, international studies, Tennessee history, or potential teaching careers.
