I began at LHS in 2015! I am originally from Nashville. I got my bachelor’s degree from UT Knoxville and went up north to Erie, PA and got my masters from Edinboro University.
Hobbies: traveling, reading, cooking, spending time with my family and dog Bert.
Fun Fact: I have ran 4 full marathons and over 25 half marathons
I began my career as a school counselor at LHS in the Fall of 2021. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from MTSU and will be graduating with my Educational Specialist Degree in Professional Counseling from MTSU in December 2021. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, reading, and traveling.

I began my career as a school counselor in 2008. I hold dual licenses as a school counselor and LPC-MHSP. I've spent the last several years in the clinical counseling world and am excited to get back to my old stomping grounds at LHS.
I received my B.S. in Sociology and M.A. in Educational Psychology and Counselor Education from TTU in 2006, and currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Counseling and Supervision program at TTU.
In my free time, I enjoy Jiu Jitsu, backcountry camping, trail running, and any other excuse to be in the woods. My long term goal is to build a self sustaining homestead in the country and live completely off grid.
This is my first year as Counseling Secretary. I have worked for Wilson County Schools since 2018. I have been married for 21 years and we have two children at LHS, Madelyn and Owen. I am a graduate of LHS and MTSU – GO BLUE! In my free time, I enjoy gardening, hiking, playing badminton, and being out on the water fishing or jet skiing.
Fun Fact: Family travel goal is to visit all 50 states and all the National Parks in the U.S.
